May 20, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #21 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #14-0061 FOR FUMIGATION SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Fumigation Services' were received from three vendors on April 22, 2014.  The bid of Haskell Termite and Pest Control, Inc. was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications.  The bid of Pestguard Commercial Services, Inc., was nonresponsive to the requirement of submitting a current fumigation license with their bid.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Haskell Termite and Pest Control, Inc., to provide 'Fumigation Services' in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00, be approved as presented.
